Rental Incubators for a Japan clinical trial

Background:

A international CRO approached us with a critical challenge: 6 incubators needed across Japan for a 24-month study, with SIV looming. Traditional procurement of new products, or importation from overseas would have derailed the startup schedule.

Challenge:

Procuring new incubators meant a longer lead time until units are shipped to sites. Hence this option could not meet the study timelines. Hence the preferred option was to use refurbished, pre-used equipment on a rental basis.

Meditrade leveraged its Japan partner network to deliver a rapid solution—sourcing pre-used equipment that was immediately available, with white-glove delivery tailored to Japanese hospital protocols. Units where shipped to sites via a white-glove delivery service that helped sites with the equipment installation.
